Membership Fees

The following fees are valid with effect from 1st January 2007.

• Full Diving Member £168.00. (This is for Ocean and Sports Diver grades, it reduces for higher grades.)
  This entitles you to;
  • one year's membership of BSAC.
  • one year's membership of the Orpington branch of the BSAC.
  • one year's subscription to Dive magazine.
  • BSAC 3rd party insurance.
  • use of the wet facilities (pool, sauna, steam room and spa) and and social facilities at Dragon's Sports Club on a club night.
  • please note that members under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or relative (who must also be a full diving member) on all dive trips.

• Second Family Member (full diving) £153.00
  Entitlements and conditions are;
  • one year's membership of BSAC.
  • one year's membership of the Orpington branch of the BSAC.
  • BSAC 3rd party insurance.
  • use of the wet facilities (pool, sauna, steam room and spa) and and social facilities at Dragon's Sports Club on a club night.
  • please note that members under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or relative (who must also be a full diving member) on all dive trips.

• Training £90.00
  Please note this fee is in addition to the relevant membership fee listed above and covers;
  • the pool and theory stages of the Ocean Diver and Sports Diver courses.
  • all training materials.
  • equipment hire and air fills during training.
  • out of pocket expenses incurred during open water training are NOT included.
  • you will need to buy your own equipment if you intend to continue diving with the club after you have qualified (and we hope you will).

• Social Member £100.00
  This includes;
  • one year's membership of the Orpington branch of the BSAC.
  • use of the wet facilities (pool, sauna, steam room and spa) and and social facilities at Dragon's Sports Club on a club night.
